Oleo Minus Bass

From the Steve Smith and Vital Information NYC edition CD, Viewpoint, this is the Sonny Rollins composition “Oleo,” minus bass.  The band features Steve Smith, Baron Browne on bass, Andy Fusco on alto saxophone, Mark Soskin on piano and Fender Rhodes, and Vinny Valentino on guitar.  This arrangement starts with Steve playing the melody and breaks into a duo with drums and piano then completes with trades between guitar and sax.
