From the Steve Smith and Vital Information NYC edition CD, Viewpoint, this is the Vinny Valentino composition “The Brush Off” minus keys.  Written as a feature for Steve’s amazing brush work.  The band features Steve Smith, Baron Browne on bass, Andy Fusco on alto saxophone, Mark Soskin on piano and Fender Rhodes, and Vinny Valentino on guitar.
